9 Years of RP

RP and I still “celebrate” our dating anniversary. By celebrate, I mean wish each other happy anniversary via gchat, grocery shop after the gym and hang out at home.

My sweet hubby posted the following on Facebook this afternoon:

Nine years ago tonight Bear (then known as “Chaaron”) and I found love over flip cup and the SigEp dance mix at 12th and F. It’s been nothing but Natty Light and 50 Cent ever since.

Classy.

Mags mentioned that our love story is “truly the stuff of Rom Coms.”

Rob correctly replied “Mags, if this was a Rom Com, the end credits would feature a montage of photos from throughout their relationship set to Ben Harper doing a hippie version of Magic Stick. And half of those photos would be of RP manhandling Ol’ Foss, with Chaaron looking on disapprovingly in the background.”

Thankfully the beginning of our relationship was pre-digital cameras and Facebook. But we do have a fair amount of ridiculous photos together!

Here’s a montage unfortunately without any photos from college (minus a hippie version of Magic Stick):

We’ve had an adventure or two in nine years!

I wonder where in the world we’ll go or what outfits we’ll be wearing over the next nine years. Let’s keep you, RP, away from the naughty nurse get up. That only works in law school.
